Lawrence Goldenhersh, President and CEO Mr. Goldenhersh blends the entrepreneurial experience of founding and managing Enviance with a successful 15-year career in the practice of law with one of the nation's most prestigious law firms. Mr. Goldenhersh founded Enviance in 1999 to drive a sea change in compliance management by leveraging the power of the Internet.
In an era where the price of carbon will redefine business, Enviance is the only proven software supplier that uses the power of the Internet to unlock the data needed for greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions management, carbon accounting, regulatory compliance and sustainability programs. Corporate executives and those with specific responsibility for EHS in Fortune 1000 companies and government organizations have relied on Enviance to manage GHG data and a wide range of regulatory compliance risks for nearly a decade.
As President and CEO, Mr. Goldenhersh is responsible for the strategic and operational management of the company. Today, the Enviance System, built by environmental, health and safety (EHS) compliance experts, is deployed in 37 countries, and is relied upon by major utility, oil and gas, energy, chemical, retail and general manufacturing companies, as well as the federal government, to manage greenhouse gas and EHS compliance over the Internet.
Prior to founding Enviance, Mr. Goldenhersh was a partner at Irell & Manella, a Los Angeles firm of more than 150 lawyers, where he served on the firm's management committee. Mr. Goldenhersh specialized in complex commercial litigation, including intellectual property litigation and environmental/resource disputes. During his tenure, Mr. Goldenhersh's clients included the H.J. Heinz Company and Speaker of the California Assembly. Prior to beginning the practice of law, Mr. Goldenhersh served as a law clerk to The Honorable Richard P. Matsch, U.S. District Court Judge.
Mr. Goldenhersh has published regularly on trends in environmental compliance, carbon risk management, carbon accounting, software as a service and supply chain environmentalism and has lectured at Duke University on performance-based compliance organizations. Larry has also spoken at many investor, technology and environmental, health and safety conferences.
Mr. Goldenhersh holds a bachelors degree from Duke University and a law degree from the University of Virginia.
 Sergey Blyashov, Chief Technology Officer Over 15 years experience at companies like Stellcom and WROX Press.
As Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, Sergey Blyashov brings more than 15 years of experience in technology management and product development and is responsible for managing the Enviance System and the company's 'Rapid Product Development' process. Ultimately, it is Sergey and his team who ensure that Enviance continues to enhance and maintain a solid, scalable product, networking, and technology architecture.
Sergey held a number of technical management, architect designer, and developer positions for enterprise level integration projects in the insurance, medical, and automotive industries before joining Enviance in 2001. Besides being a technical reviewer for Wrox Inc.'s Windows 2000 DNA architecture book, Sergey holds a patent in the area of business intelligence reporting tool design.
Sergey is a Microsoft Certified Software Developer (MCSD) and holds a CS masters degree from Rostov Technical Institute in computer science.
 Charlie Christie, VP, Delivery Operations Formerly the Vice President of Professional Services, Charlie has been responsible for a wide variety of System Implementations.
Currently, Charlie is responsible for the connection of Services Delivery with our Account Management and Sales Team functions. Using his experience in implementing the Enviance System to handle GHG, Title V, NPDES, Contract Management, Incident Management, Regulatory Contact and Audit Management, Waste Management, Sustainability, Compliance Calendar, and other solutions, Charlie works with customers to understand clearly what is needed to accomplish their goals, and the best way to structure approaches to those goals. Before joining Enviance in 2007, Charlie was the Operations Manager for the California offices of RETEC, an Environmental Consulting firm, responsible for offices in Long Beach and Sacramento. Charlie received a bachelor's degree in Chemistry and a bachelor’s degree in Government from Cornell University.
Greg Gasperecz, VP, Environmental, Health & Safety With 23 years experience at the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality, the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and his own consultancy.
Greg Gasperecz has an extensive technical background in the environmental industry specifically in air quality management. With the combination of regulatory and compliance consulting experience, Greg understands the issues facing compliance specialists - developing appropriate solutions that efficiently and cost-effectively solve the challenges faced by those in the compliance arena. Greg has a central role in product management and in consulting with Enviance customers to build and implement solutions that map to organizations' needs.
Prior to joining Enviance in 2000, Greg ran his own consulting business where he provided regulatory compliance, remedial investigation, and permit acquisition guidance to companies in the process, steel, utility, and fabrication industries.
Greg began his career with the EPA developing information upon which emission standards such as NSPS and NESHAP are based. He then joined the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality where he served in various capacities, ultimately being promoted to Assistant Secretary for the Office of Air Quality.
Greg holds a bachelor's degree in Environmental Science and a Masters of Engineering from Louisiana State University.
 Darryl Gordon, VP, Marketing and Inside Sales Darryl Gordon joined Enviance from Breach Security, bringing 21 years marketing experience in the development, execution and management of strategic marketing.
As Vice President of Marketing for Kintera, Gordon led the development and execution of the company's marketing and communications strategy supporting business growth for its software as a service (SaaS) content management system (CMS), customer relationship management (CRM) and accounting applications. Prior to Kintera, he served in senior-level marketing positions, leading worldwide marketing programs at Memec Group Holdings, Ltd., Websense, Inc. where he guided the company's positioning for their IPO and their post-IPO brand expansion. and Mail Boxes Etc./The UPS Store where his Super Bowl promotions were named "Best New Idea on the Super Bowl" by Advertising Age magazine. Gordon holds a BA from the University of South Africa and a Bachelor's Degree in Advertising Arts from the Art Institute of California.
David McCurdy, EVP, Sales and Operations 16 years sales and sales management experience at DuPont.
Dave McCurdy brings 16 years experience in a variety of leadership positions in sales, marketing, and operations. As EVP, Sales and Operations, Dave and his team are responsible for overseeing operations, enhancing and expanding customer use of Enviance, for managing all aspects of the Enviance alliance program.
In 2000, Dave joined Enviance from DuPont where he directed North American marketing efforts for the Corian business unit, its highest growth business unit. Dave's expertise lies in business-to-business sales, product strategy, and branding. Dave was also involved in development of new e-business models for DuPont and leading discussions with Internet companies in DuPont markets.
Dave received his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and an M.B.A. from the University of Delaware.
Nigel Nugent, VP, Worldwide Sales Nigel Nugent is Vice President of Worldwide Sales. He was formerly Vice President at CH2M Hill responsible for their Sustainability Technology Consulting division that helped clients select, implement and integrate enterprise environmental management solutions.
Prior to joining CH2M Hill in 2004, Nigel was Vice President of North America Sales Operations for Oracle corp. During his twelve-year tenure at the company, he was a member of Oracle's senior management team, held sales and sales management positions in the US and Europe, and led global consulting and account teams. During his tenure, sales at Oracle increased dramatically as they solidified their prominent industry position.
Mr. Nugent was educated in England and holds a patent award for his work in the field of automated solar energy analysis.
Jeff Pownell, CPA, Chief Financial Officer Over 15 years financial management experience at Freedom Scientific, National Decision Systems, Equifax, Ernst & Young, KPMG Peat Marwick.
Jeff Pownell joined Enviance in 2003 with considerable expertise in strategic and operational financial management of technology companies. With more than 15 years of experience, Jeff is responsible for all financial and accounting matters at Enviance. In 2007 Jeff was honored as CFO of the Year by the San Diego Business Journal and Robert Half Management.
Prior to Enviance, Jeff was CFO at Freedom Scientific, the world's leading developer, manufacturer, and supplier of assistive technology products to the blind. He has experience raising equity from venture capital investors, negotiating debt financing with international banking groups, and managing the financial affairs of multi-facility and international operations. Jeff managed the acquisition and integration of several privately-held software companies and held senior management positions in the technology divisions at Ernst & Young and KPMG Peat Marwick where he assisted several venture-backed companies in going public. His time at Equifax provided him with detailed knowledge of accounting and reporting issues important to publicly-traded companies.
Jeff is a CPA and holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from West Texas State University.
 Yann Risz, VP of Strategy and Environmental Finance Being sustainable is great. Being sustainable and more profitable is greater.
Yann Risz is the Vice President of Strategy and Environmental Finance at Enviance, where he develops the solutions that enable Enviance customers to link sustainability and profitability. Previously, Yann was an investor focused on sustainability software firms, a McKinsey consultant, an executive and the UN Director of Commission on the Private Sector and Development, launched by Kofi Annan. Yann received an MBA from Harvard Business School. He is on the Board of MBAs without Borders and Re-Emerging World, and is a Charter Member of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TIE). He has been a frequent speaker on issues related to sustainability and emerging markets opportunities, including lectures at universities and keynotes at global events.
Greg Scandrett, VP, Product Management Greg Scandrett joined Enviance with more than 15 years of software implementation and product development experience in the environmental, health and safety (EHS) and emergency management markets.
At Enviance, Greg leads the product management team charged with defining the features and functionality of future software releases, and manages the collection and assembly of enhancement requests into service and general releases.
Before joining Enviance in 2005, Greg was Director of Professional Services at a competitive EHS software firm, where he was instrumental in growing their professional services revenue, implementing the firm's first internationalized version of the product into the People's Republic of China, and launching several key secondary software products for the marketplace. Prior to this Greg held various senior business positions with EHS consulting firms where he successfully built software and services practices.
Greg received a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo and an M.B.A. in new product and venture development from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
